Katie Hake, RDN, LD, CPT
After studying abroad in college, I came home feeling disconnected from my body. What started as an effort to “get healthy” spiraled into obsessive exercise, food rules, and constant body checking. I wasn’t listening to my body - I was at war with it. The harder I tried to control my health, the more out of control I felt.
Through my work in dietetics and my experience teaching group fitness, I began to understand just how complex - and powerful - our bodies really are. I started questioning the messages I’d absorbed about health, weight, and willpower. Slowly, I unlearned the rigid rules and started trusting myself again.
That shift changed everything. I built sustainable habits, reclaimed my energy, and redefined what confidence looked like, for me.
Now, I opened my private practice to help others do the same. I’m here to guide you toward a relationship with food, movement, and your body that’s rooted in self-respect, not self-punishment - so you can feel strong, calm, and free in your everyday life.
